Our mouths, from a young age, are like trees of habits that grow over time. Especially during infancy and childhood, it's the time to strengthen the roots of this tree! Let's explore brushing tips and things to be cautious of according to your child's age.

🍼 Infancy (6 months ~ 2 years)

  1. When to start? Begin brushing when teeth slowly start to appear!
  2. Which tool? Use a brush as soft as a baby's skin to clean the mouth!
  3. Toothpaste? Use fluoride-free baby toothpaste, in an amount smaller than a pea!
  4. Be careful! Toothpaste isn't tasty; ensure the baby doesn't swallow it!

🐥 Late Infancy to Pre-school (2 years ~ 6 years)

  1. How to brush? Use a toothbrush as gentle as a parent's touch to brush the teeth!
  2. How much toothpaste? Just the size of a small pea!
  3. Brushing time: Twice a day, 2 minutes each in the morning and evening!
  4. Be cautious! Brushing alone might still be challenging; do it together with parents!

🎒 Elementary School (7 years ~ 12 years)

  1. I can do it myself! Teach the proper brushing technique.
  2. Toothpaste? Pea-sized!
  3. Starting with dental floss: Clean between the teeth with dental floss!
  4. Did you know? Brush your teeth after having sugary snacks!

🏀 Adolescence (13 years ~ 18 years)

  1. Dental visits: Visit the dentist every 6 months!
  2. Always floss! Maintain oral hygiene with dental floss!
  3. Toothbrush replacement: Change to a new toothbrush every season!
  4. Warning! Cigarettes and carbonated drinks are enemies of teeth! Avoid them!

🌺 Conclusion:

A child's brushing habits pave the way for their future healthy smiles. Wishing both parents and children a joyful brushing journey, and hoping for days filled with happiness and a healthy oral environment! 🌟
